Beau Bedford
Beau Bedford is a Dallas-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who has become a central figure in the modern Texas roots and Americana scene. He got his start playing in Jonathan Tyler's Northern Lights before founding The Texas Gentlemen, a rotating collective of Dallas players he originally assembled as an all-purpose backing band for singer-songwriters like Leon Bridges and Nikki Lane. Bedford led the group for roughly eight years, recording their 2017 debut TX Jelly at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals before stepping away in 2019 to focus on producing. Today he is co-owner and chief engineer at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas and a member of the Texas based band Chaparelle. Beau is closely associated with Paul Cauthen, having produced Cauthen's debut My Gospel and the Have Mercy EP, along with co-writing several of his songs. His broader credits include Orville Peck (Spotify Singles), Amigo the Devil (Born Against), Wyatt Flores (Welcome to the Plains), and Tanner Usrey and many more.
