James Trawick

James Trawick is the founder and CEO of the Hondo Rodeo Fest, an invite-only "Million Dollar Rodeo" that pairs elite professional rodeo with stadium-headlining country and rock music. A former western-sports competitor turned media and film producer, he built the event to put the best cowboys and the biggest touring artists under one roof and pay the athletes like the stars they are. Since debuting at Chase Field in Phoenix in 2024, the festival has grown to draw tens of thousands of fans, staged a seven-figure purse, and expanded to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, with Tampa announced for 2027. Its lineups have featured names like Jason Aldean, Creed, and Lynyrd Skynyrd alongside a field of world-champion rodeo athletes.
